'Scuze me for butting in. When I am feeling rotten, physically and mentally, I always feel much better if I take a good long soak in an Epsom Salt bath. I use LOTS of Epsom Salts (2 Cups) and keep adding hot water as the bath cools.
There is research that shows that blood levels of Mg rise after soaking in Epsom Salt baths. That helps me sleep really well and I feel human in the morning.
Magnesium is good for muscle pains and is needed along with Calcium for the bones. Sulphate is needed in the liver detoxify ammonia, metabolic waste, drugs, alcohol and chemicals. Sulphate is best absorbed through the skin and when the liver is happy, everything else is happier.
