Re: sorry to interrupt guys

That is dangerous. Really. Some people get very sick from that.

I will sum up the Cutler protocol quickly so you can see what's wrong with taking DMSA in those kinds of dosages.

Cutler protocol involves a recognition of the half-life of the chelation agent in the body. Why is this important? Because of redistribution effects. The half-life of DMSA in the body is 4 hours. If the space between taking it is longer, than the amount of DMSA in your bloodstream will fluctuate, and drop a lot of mercury during the low cycle.

Also, that amount is very high. Most people who start with Cutler protocol do something like 12.5 mg of DMSA to start, usually working up to 25 mgs in a few months so long as they don't have any symptoms. You can buy DMSA in 25 mg capsules, but normally at some point you will have to cut capsules.

DMSA itself doesn't really do the heavy lifting. That is for ALA, which pulls mercury out of the central nervous system and other organs of the body where it can be particularly problematic.

Anyway, I could expound at this at length, but what is happening is that your body is stirring up a lot of mercury while only a small amount of it is being removed, and that can make you feel much worse.
