wanted: discussion with people who have gone on accutane

I've had cystic Acne for 9 years and am about at my limit with "the alternatives". I've been patient and have tried and tried and tried...I just want something to help. I am miserable half of the time.
I would like to hear from people who have used accutane. If it was terrible, if it was the best thing you ever did...
I'd like to hear about the outcome, your side effects, etc.
I keep getting myself psyched up to take it, feeling like it's the only last solution, but I know how serious the side-effects are, and of course psyche myself out of taking it.
