i know a lot of people take flaxseed oil instead of fish oils, but bother fish oils and flaxseed oils can be rancid (you never know with the gelcaps). i use ground organic flaxseeds (you can grind them yourself in a coffee grinder or buy them preground at a health food store). store in the fridge for freshness. they taste really yummy, a nutty flavor; good to top salads, yogurt, cereal, whatever you eat. make sure the flaxseeds are ground though, otherwise you won't absorb the nutrients. they're also a good source of fiber. never tried the hempseeds, wonder if you have to grind those too.
