it's ridiculous.

I'm sure you do look decades younger but that still doesn't change the fact that you're a decade from medicare benefits. You are obviously smitten by such a younger suitor...who wouldn't be? But your generation has what this one doesn't: common sense. You wouldn't be asking if you already knew deep down that this isn't quite right. Multi-generational dating looks good in theory but is all surface and platitudes. You're not a little older than he...you're a lot older. No offense. It's just the fact! Everybody is telling you to go jump his bones. Why? Your friends are right. Your relatives are just being nice. You've probably had a couple colonoscopies by now for goodness sakes! He doesn't even know what this is! Isn't there a great guy your own generation that would love to share the golden years with you? Yeah, there probably is a great 55 yr. old guy out there for you that cares about politics like you, drinks and eats at the same places, listens to the same general music, movies, etc. You grew up with The Carpenters. Do you realize that you are actually contemplating dating someone who listens to Snoop Dogg. What in the world are you thinking!!!!??? Here now, tomorrow morning go over to the local Starbucks and grab a mocha latte, a USA Today and put down that romance novel. Some things in life are better left in your dreams.
