Imma be blunt to you. you are 51 and he's 29. In 20 years. you'll be 71 and he'll be 49. he'll cheat on you.

If your not hurting anyone, I'd say go for it.
My mother (sorry for the reference, I'm 35) and some other people I know have dated really younger men and they got a lot of slack for it but the people that are going to talk crap are going to talk crap no matter what situation your in. I think, as long as your happy and not hurting anyone, have fun! Just make sure you have some really good zingers for the nay sayers.

That's 15yrs difference in age. We are appraching our 3rd wedding anniversary in OCtober and are closer then we've ever been. He can actually anser a question before I speak it!

My friends were surprised at first, as were his. But it wasn't very long before they noticed how we felt for each other. Now they are just happy for us!!

Oh, I have a friend who is 20 yrs older than her husband (2nd), they couldn't be happier!! And their frends are just happy that they are happy. It'll work out, you'll see!!

I'm sure you do look decades younger but that still doesn't change the fact that you're a decade from medicare benefits. You are obviously smitten by such a younger suitor...who wouldn't be? But your generation has what this one doesn't: common sense. You wouldn't be asking if you already knew deep down that this isn't quite right. Do you realize that you are actually contemplating dating someone who listens to Snoop Dogg. What in the world are you thinking!!!!??? Here now, tomorrow morning go over to the local Starbucks and grab a mocha latte, a USA Today and put down that romance novel. Some things in life are better left in your dreams.

This is where I come from. My dad was 20 years older than my mom. They loved each other and had a very stable marriage for 45 years until his death a few years ago. Their relationship was like a rare jewel.

He was 39 when he married my mom at 19. He was always a wonderful dad and husband. I do believe there is a double standard where this type of relationship is concerned because while men can be much older than their female partners...women come off looking as if they are desperate or something. Maybe it's not fair but that is the way it seems.

My dad live to the age of 83...so mom was 63 when he passed. He was disabled the last 15 years of his life. While mom took great care of him and did it willingly it was still a strain at times. She did have a great social life...church activities and such but I'm sure she would have loved to have been able to do things with Dad on her arm.

Now, I'm not one for fling type relationships so if you are going to date this guy for a thrill then none of what I said really matters...does it? But if you are looking for long term love then there are many things you really should contemplste before you or he becomes attached to one another.

I am sorry for being blunt. It may break your heart but when you see reality, this relation shows you so much red flags already.

I can see your previous messages and i can see that you are also trying to make yourself understand. You can make yourself understand and people can tell you exactly what you want to LISTEN, But if you see it in reality you will know that it is not going to be a really GOOD realationship.

Whenever there are so much differences in "energies" (physcical or mental) then it always gives problem. if you think carefully and you really love him then you will never try to tie him. You are ofcouese mature than him and you should understand about it's reality. He may cry, shout or compell you to make it possible but you should not let this happend.

Sit and relax and think about it carefully rather than making yourself understand by the exapmle of others.

You both will blok each other's energy and possiblities in life and i am sure you and he will regret it further.
