Re: Healthy sprouted brownies and banana nut bread

To be honest, it took me 5 attempts before getting it right :) lol, the sprouted flour is dryer and needs more liquid so the first batch i didnt' realize that and used powdered stevia........the brownies were like rocks!!

the natural no Sugar added applesauce really made them moist but without a little added something was a bit sour. so, sweeten it with either raw honey, xylitol or liquid stevia.

If you add some carob chips it give it the oozing of chocolate......might even want to melt some on top for frosting!!! (good when coming out hot!) or zap a few in the microwave for like 30 seconds....LOL, the heat from the brownies melts them.....I know, microwave is a no, no.......LOL

the banana nut is good as muffins as well and freezes well.

I'm going to play around with oatmeal cookies and applesauce muffins next week and will post.

Come on over I currently have both on the counter.....I'm in Texas though!! lol

Enjoy!

You can do just about everything with the sprouted flour, including baking your own bread, pizza crusts, noodles........bake.......you name it. the ezekail tortilla's are great for a quickie pizza but a little too thin so, I'm going to try to make pizza dough next week too!!! I've been home sick so baking/creating helps with the boredom and to keep us healthy :)
