Salt water or herbal laxative tea in the morning?
I'm preparing to try to do the Master cleanse, but am reluctant with the salt water drink. I tried the mixture today and I just couldn't do much of it, at least I don't think I could do the full quart...maybe a glass if I'm lucky :-).
Anyhow it looked as though it is listed as "Another Cleansing Aid" and I get the impression that it would be ok to just do the laxative herbal tea in the morning and at night. Will the cleanse still work well without doing the salt water cleaning?(just doing the tea) Or is there any alternative ways to do the salt water cleaning that either make it milder/palatable or a substitute like homemade broth with
Sea Salt ????
Also, I'm an extended nurser and my daughter who is 2 1/2 yrs old who eats food still nurses. I came across a couple variations of another herbal tea that is suppose to help with milk production and was wondering if it would be ok to supplement with some of this tea during the cleanse/fasting to help with the nursing (of course I mean in addition to the other tea, not to replace it).
I don't intend on doing the full 10 day fast...one, because I'm nursing still and two, because I really don't think I can make it that long :-). Plus I plan to keep an eye on my body and listen to it...if I think that it is becoming a problem with nursing then I plan to stop and try and figure out what other milder alternatives there are for cleansing. On the other hand, if I'm doing well on it I will try to do it for longer.
This is all new to me and my first fast so...any help/advice is appreciated.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Rebecca
