Apparently there are several convenient omissions here. I will tell you of God's love, that it is tempered by the facts of corruption. I had no idea until I saw this on the history channel in an interview with several Biblical Scholars. God set a ban on the people of the land he was offering to the Jew's.Through that ban, the Jew's were commanded to kill every man, woman and child. Burn every building and destroy every crop. To wipe those natives of the land off the face of the earth! And in Soddom and Gamorah, Even the babies were exterminated and Lot's wife turned to a pillar of salt for being curious and looking back! In Egypt, he suffered the death of every first born in Egypt, of whom some were slaves. They had no involvement in keeping the Jew's in Egypt. And although the Pharoah commanded this with his own lips, over and above his love, God called down the death and the only protection from this death was the lamb's blood smeared upon every portal to the house. Over and above his love he tortured and abused Job to the devastation of Job's entire life's work and relations. And don't forget the "Tower Of Babel", For one man's egomania, he sent all his people to seperate and remove themselves from the Tower. He did this through changing their thought and speech patterns. How many of those people felt it would have been betterr if he had killed them. And don't give me your take. Remember your sinner's and you have no communication with God to clarify his actions. They are wholly known only to him.
