Re: TMJ Surgery

Yes, I am working with my dentist to put a plan in place. He wants to see me as soon as all of the wires are removed to either adjust my existing splint or have a new splint made. He feels my problems started from grinding my teeth at night so going forward I will always have to wear a night guard. I have also been attending physio for over a year and have been given several "self help" techniques/exercises to assist in keeping my jaw relaxed and to relieve the pressure. I have also been working on identifying stressors in my life and trying to remove/reduce. I know this is caused by several items so I will take a full rounded out plan to keep things in check - any suggestions?????????
