Definitely not dairy. Well, I guess it might be okay for some people if they can find nonpasteurized nonhomogenized pasture raised, etc...

I personally don't use rice milk because I never have a need for milk (I don't ever want to drink it, and I don't eat cereal). But I switched my family to rice milk. I figure that, while it might not be particularly nutritious, it's brown rice, it can't be that bad, certainly a lesser evil than soy or dairy.

Some people make their own almond milk, using almonds and water in a blender I believe. Some people like "coconut milk" (see the Coconut forum for more details).
