Hey Pearl...I am sincerely sorry for your loss and understand your bitterness but am glad the Chiropractor helped for many years to increase the quality of your dad's life. Do you think its possible that his family doc might have missed the diagnosis? or his dentist, etc? The fact is that your dad had the free will to see an MD at any point in his life and all of chiropractic cannot be blamed for that. Im sure your dad also signed an informed consent discussing the risks of manipulation (1 in ewvery 3 million adjustments can cause a problem). Lets discuss the real problem...people taking opiates, NSAID's, psych drugs etc more now than ever. Chiropractic isnt even on the list for deaths caused each year! but NSAID's are the #15 cause of death yearly from gastrointestinal bleeding and cause as many deaths yearly as the AIDS virus. Why dont you lay blame against the MD's and drug companies? I for one have a great relationship with my chiropractor and will continue to do so.
