Depakote Depressed

My son just started taking Depakote because my husband wants to do that. I am into natural healing, just about got myself healed of MS. So it has been really hard for me. I have never been so offended cause how against people are on my belief. All I wanted to do was take him off of sugar, you think I was asking them to blow up the town. So that point on I didnt realize how against the medical field I am.
So enough of my feelings. Has anyone had success with this drug? What are side effect you have had?
