Re: seizures

He told me that foods cannot trigger seizures, lack of sleep does not trigger seizures, etc. etc. ANYONE who has seizures, brain injury or not, will tell you that that is absolutely not true.

The triggering mechanism for seizures is complex and is the subject of much study (your comments provoke me into looking at the issue).

I do not know where you live, but, it appears that the leading center studying this is the U of Penn. Do a Google search on triggering seizures.

We hunted ped neuros for several years, saw the 'top' and saw what was described as the bottom...and wound up with one in the middle. I found that *experience* counted more than education.

Good luck.
