What is my problem? Please help diagnose.

I am having a hard time figuring out what my problem is. I have inflammation of the colon (determined by recto-sigmoidoscopy), inflammation of rectum, thin, pencil-like feces that float, gas, sometimes bloating. Seems like it could be Chron's or UC but there is no bleeding or diarrhea, no mucus. Should I do a colonoscopy? Follow the instructions in this site for Chron's disease?
I also have a lesion in the liver which seems to be a hemangioma, and a small polyp in the gallbladder. I took very small amounts of valium sporadically during 30 years. Finally realized it was killing me and got off it about four months ago. My energy has increased and I feel much better, but the digestive symptoms have not gone away.
I will greatly appreciate any feedback or guidance.
