Let me, if I may, explain why this dualist thinking leads to unhappiness.

When you view God as all that is good and, for instance, Satan as all that is bad you have duality, seperation where none exists. This leads to reality disturbing your ideations..."How could this happen? This stuff shouldn't happen!"

This common problem can be solved WITHIN the realms of any conventional teaching/cult/religion with a simple understanding of the difference between the aforementioned seperation/duality and POLARITY.

Polarity is simply the opposite ends of the same universe/scale/model. This is what YIN YANG signifies - How the concepts of GOOD/EVIL or God/Satan can be used effectively on the path to truth.

When you see evil as something seperate from you/universe how can you learn to accept it's manifestations in you and your universe? Answer is you can't.

When you realise good and evil are just opposite ends of the same "thing" you can accept the shadow in you, learn to embrace it and rise, like Prometheus, above and through it.
