Is it about energy or about spirits?

Hi

Is possible to practice Reiki concentrating on energy and healing without thinking on spirits, guides etc?

I like the energy idea/concept but I do not like the spirit concept.

I was taught when I was a child to be away of any "spirit" and concentrate only about God.

Later I had some experiences that made me agree with that idea.
About guides: I know the catholic concept of saints, that can be a model because what they did during their life: great connection with God, great practices of compasion, self-control, etc. But I do not how to trust something I do not know.


Any way...Please let me know what you think ...

Can you help a person with problems through energy or with spirits?

I am confused about that. I believe that God has many properties, some of them light, energy and love. I want to experience God light and healing.
