Greetings; after reading this I was convinced. I picked up a used unit on Ebay and am getting ready to fire it up. I opened the boiler section and found some scale there, I am wondering about some pitting that I observed in the heaters - is this normal?? they seem to be maybe 1/16 inch deep and randomly located, not many in number.
In getting ready to startup the machine I built a magnetic partical trap, placed a 0.5 micro filter in line, and will run thru a pressure regulating valve to smooth out the flow as my household water system varies between 30 & 60 psi. Hopefully these precautions will eliminate some problems before they can arise. Tweet
