Yes, wheelslip. I know the army and marines take 18 years old and turn them into killing machines.

However, helicopter gunships aren't piloted by 18 years olds, nor are F16s, nor are 18 years old kids commanding the missile launch teams on a carrier, nor the bombardiers of B1, B2, or 52 warplanes. Nor were the military prison guards and their CIA handlers 18 year olds either.

They are men and women with families at home in the US who beat and torture detaniees (innocent or involved, it didn't seem to matter), and drop bombs and shoot missiles at men and women AND their families on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan.

As for ground troops, yes, they take young aggressive kids, indoctrinate them and turn them lose on the population in foreign countries with automatic rifles, 50 caliber machine guns and tanks.

And this is forgivable, how?

I know, I know.... like lambs to the slaughter... these poor sappy kids are the ones who make up the bulk of the 700 US war dead. They are trained to kill and they commit atrocities and get killed in return.

And Bush and his murderous thugs utter sanctimonious platitudes and order more death and destruction of innocent lives from Washington...

And I should cut Bush a break, why?
