In Defense of the Bush Administration

It has been stated by many right–wingers that liberals are gleeful every time the Bush Administration experiences a setback in its agenda…Be it the economy, the wars in Iraq\Afghanistan, No Child Left Behind, the Patriot Act, etc.. I, personally, believe that no president in history has been such an utter failure as G.W. Bush. And, there are times that I must check my hatred of him in order to keep my patriotism intact. Let’s face it—His failures weaken “all” of us.

The violations perpetrated against Iraqi prisoners by the coalition forces are disgusting. I do think it would be naïve to assume that horrible atrocities are not committed by all parties in the fog of war.

It is unfair to add the mistreatment of Iraqi detainees to Bush’s list of moronic decisions. Give “George the Uncurious” a break!
