Re: In Defense of war criminals?
The people in those prison chains of command will be as guilty of killing Americans as the hate-filled Iragis that pull the triggers
The ineptness of this administration is "quite" apparent without nit-picking. Those prisoners were damn lucky to be prisoners. I guarantee that some pissed-off American soldiers made earlier, honorable, decisions that got the insurgents safely into the "nude but alive" condition called POW.
The longer we refuse to admit failure and evacuate gracefully, the more expose's our addled citizens will be exposed to. Maybe fifty out of 150,000 of our soldiers were involved with this childish crap. The rest are acting and dying honorably.
We appear to be getting down to the GOP level of slime mongering. Like: Was the first shrapnel wound "big enough" to warrant a Purple Heart? Did he throw a ribbon or a medal over the fence?
Let's not lower our philosophic rhetoric to the level our opposition grovels in.
And, yes, the events would not have occurred were we not under a fascist administration.
