Re: The Incurables Program (first go) Days 13 and 14
Excellent suggestions. What's your opinion about freezing juices? Sometimes, when I know I won't be drinking everything up within 24 hrs., I put little jars in my freezer (which is more like an intense fridge because frozen goods don't stay frozen in my college-student type fridge/freezer. I can forget about ice cream - which is just as well).
Otherwise, I'm doing a lot of your suggestions. I am a temp secretary, with no turf of my own, so I have to be portable. I take a thermos of detox tea (with tinctures in my backpack) and a thermos of hot lemon drink or broth. I take my juices in containers and keep them in my lunch box in the fridge. It's tough to remember to take IF#2 every few hours, in the midst of a hectic day. I'm still working on that.
I don't have a healing partner but I did make an appointment for a massage in late May. Haven't tried the cold treatment yet. I'll just have to waddle to my bed by myself. I purchased plastic sheets, so I'm good to go.
I'm discovering that I must get up at 5:00 a.m. in order to have time for my morning routine before work. Can't count on having energy or willpower in the evening after work. So I do the flush drink, detox tea, walking or swimming, weights, stretching -- all before work. At least that's the plan. Getting closer. Have to shoot for an 8:00 p.m. bedtime though (which means I get there by 8:30 p.m.).
Luckily for me, there is a grocery store 5 blocks away from work and I walk there every lunch hour. So I get the exercise and can buy vegetables, etc. as needed.
I'm convinced an effective IP can be done with a work schedule (whether in or out of the home). As you and Casandra have both said -- it's a matter of adding on a little more each day and setting routines and habits. And making it through the patches of fatigue and discouragement.
Thanks so much for taking the time to outline all those good suggestions and tips. Here's to all of us on our current rounds!
