Re: The Incurables Program (first go) Days 13 and 14
Scottie,
You're doin' great. Hang in there.
I did the IP last summer but I wasn't working at the time. It was pretty overwhelming even then. I also had my husband and children to help, plus friends and church folk who prayed for me.
I'm getting ready to do the whole thing again, with a few added changes that I think will be helpful for my unique situation (like, extra antioxidants). I can see how a lot of people wouldn't want to do the IP because it IS so time consuming.
If you look at some of these "suggested schedules" for doing the IP, you see that it looks like you are supposed to be so near death that you wouldn't be working anyway. But many of us who have chronic illnesses or those who have been written off as a hopeless case, have jobs and families and houses and a life! So every day you do a little bit more on the healthy side of the seesaw and a little bit less on the unhealthy side.
Maybe you, Casandra, and I could come up with a way to make the IP doable for folks with jobs outside the home. I am arranging my schedule right now so that I can do the IP and still homeschool over the summer.
You would need a morning/before work routine that included your morning flushes, a mid-morning break to drink that juice/smoothie with the Superfood in it, enough time for lunch to eat a big salad if you decide to eat food, or if you're
juicing you could drink your juice and then maybe get some exercise or at least some sun, another break mid-afternoon for juice with SF, and then you would have your evening/after work routine. You'd need short breaks every hour to take the teas and tinctures and go to the bathroom LOL, plus take the IF#2. If you took the IF#2 in capsule form it would be faster. Even though it wouldn't be as ideal, you could make all of the next day's juice at night and keep it in sealed glass Mason jars in the refrigerator overnight. Then in the morning you could put the jars of juice in a cooler and take it to work to put into the breakroom fridge. You could take your tinctures with you in your purse, and keep a little hot plate in your office to make your teas. You'd need to bring your distilled water with you in a milk jug or something. You could make all your salads at night when you make dinner and just take a big Tupperware bowl with a lid to work with you. Maybe you could keep some homeade salad dressing in the fridge at work. You could make your potassium broth at night every third night and maybe do your laundry on the second night and go grocery shopping on the other night!
You'd have to figure out when you wanted to exercise, what nights you wanted to do your enemas, and what nights you wanted to do your cold sheet treatments- most likely Friday nights because it takes extra time to do them. You'd have to schedule time for your massages with your healing partner.
Really it wouldn't be that much more work than to take care of a nursing baby while holding down a full time job. If you were seriously committed to it, it could be done.
Maybe we could come up with a "Suggested Working Person's Reality Plan" for those who can't check into a detox center! LOL Hey, let's do it!
For positive motivation, keep listening to
Dr. Schulze 's tapes. Tape a picture of a super model that you want to look like on your makeup mirror- or if you're single, maybe some beefcake looking guy! LOL Read inspirational testimonies, like the ones in Dr. S's newsletters. Look in the mirror and say "I feel and look fabulous!" At first you're kinda lying, but your cells will be listening and responding!
More later on some of this...
Blessings,
-Donna
