Yes, I already went to my doctor and she didn't seem too happy with my decision. She didn't necessarily say I needed to get it but I got the impression she felt it's something I should get. I feel much better now that I've told her even though our beliefs are not the same. I did mention about the cord cutting and delivery of the placenta, that most of the sensitization occurs at delivery. She did write in my chart that I requested to have the placenta deliverd before the cord was cut. I have to make sure though that they let it come out on it's own and not by them pulling on it. I'm still not sure if I'm going to get the rhogam shot or not after delivery; it's a tough decision. Tweet
