If you have not already dealt with the doctor, just tell him you have studied it extensively and feel the best choice for your family is not to get the shot at 28 weeks. Don't argue with him. If he wants you to explain why tell him you feel it is the best choice for you and your family...try not to let him corner you into an argument over who knows more. One way to do this is to remind him he is paid to give you advice and educate you on why he advises the shot, but that you do not pay him to make your decisions for you.
"Doctor" means teacher. Given the same information you will always end up with at least three opinions, he has his, you have yours.
I really wish they had a site to print out doctors opinions on every subject so you can just hand your doctor a pamplet and say, "I agree with Dr. such and such, that's why."
