Re: Hi Shelleycat..
Hi,
Thanks again for the info. I was actually diagnosed with low iron / anemia when I was about 16, and didn't get my period for about a year. At that point it seemed to be from working out a lot and being a "bad" vegetarian--all I ate was bread and pasta! Since then I've learned a lot more about diet but the only way I've found to menstruate regularly while exercising regularly is to eat poultry, fish, and occasional red meat (the blood type book finally pointed me in this direction : ) I'm hoping that the liver cleanse will this as well.
On another note, I sent you an e-mail last week with a few questions on pinworms, although I'm not sure if you got it. You had helped me 2 weeks back and recommended that I try Pin-X treatment plus de-infesting my home. The Pin-X took away my symptoms for about 2-3 days, then I got very itchy one night after eating figs (I think pinworms thrive on sugar) and actually found a worm! I was really devestated, this stuff is driving me crazy!! The itching has just returned every night since--I think I even have some sort of swelling down there that itches on its own. Anyway, after recovering from my devestation, and the best plan I can come up with is to eat absolutely no
Sugar for about 2 months, which will be tough.. I think the worms thrive on
Sugar and this is the only way I can imagine that they might actually die. ; )
I am also planning on taking Pin-x again tonight as it has been 2 weeks since my first dose. I've washed all my stuff again and am trying to be even more diligent about re-infestation. I was wondering, do you think I should try taking Pin-X again, after this time, in another 2 weeks? I'm asking because I've read that the life-cycle is 1 month so I was thinking this might be good. I'm also planning to start Paragone in about 2 weeks (right now I'm still on the bowel cleanse). After all that I plan to cleanse liver and kidneys, and if I am still troubled perhaps seek help from a local naturopath, as I have been feeling really desparate lately.
Any advice?
The good news is I've upped by P&b mix to 1 tb both P& b, about 3/day, and I feel this will be really helpful in getting out critters. Lately I have found 1/4inch oblong sack-looking things in my bms and also small reddish-brown seed which don't look like anything I can recall eating! So even tho I'm still working on the pinworms (the itch never seems to go away!!) I am getting out something!!
Thanks for all your help and feel free to e-mail me personally if you like.
Jessie
