Thank you so much to everyone who has responded. Feel like i'm not the only one out there with a defective body now - it's so hard coping with this on your own, but don't feel as daunted now.

Yes, I am in the UK, and Marmite is an acquired taste - my husband hates it, but as it is Yeast Extract, I haven't had any for a year now - dedication!!!

A homeopath once told me that my liver wasn't as strong as it should be so I think that will be my first port of call. Have printed all of your messages off and will inwardly digest over the next couple of days and write my plan of action.
