I found a good web page on acid/alkaline and I'll be darned if I can't find it now!!!

It went into the mechanics of how the body maintains the blood PH balance and it was fascinating and made perfect sense, like using minerals to base out acids, and how acidic fruits don't require the body to strip itself of minerals and ions to balance them, which is why lemon drinks are so great on a fast. It lists what is acid in the blood (sulphur, phosphorus) and what is alkaline (salts and calcium).

I'll keep looking and see about posting the link here. I think it clears up a lot of confusion. Tweet
