Re: Horrible headaches..18 weeks

I too, had horrible migraine headaches when I was pregnant. Never before had I had a migraine headache, these headaches came complete with aura and vision disturbances and started when I was about 16-18 weeks pregnant. And also were sometimes with high blood pressure and sometimes with normal. They were awful! I know exactly how you feel.

Definately get a fish oil capsule or omega 3-6-9 oil combination - be careful not to get any with evening primrose oil as this type of plant is estrogenic and may cause worsening of your headaches.
Another thing you can do is take magnesium, a deficiency in magnesium can cause headaches, especially migraines. Also be sure you are getting adequate Vit. C and B vitamins.

Remember if you are suffering and can barely function take a tylenol, one won't hurt. But please don't take any other kind of drug. You don't want to deal with any harsh side effects while pregnant.

I would also, suggest not doing an enema while pregnant, especially if you have on and off high blood pressure.

Get plenty of rest.

Blessings!
