Re: Horrible headaches..18 weeks
Hi-
I'm new here but saw your note and had to respond.
I also had horrible headaches when I was pregnant two years ago. (and I actually still get them once in a while)
Sometimes they would last two to three days even.
Before becoming pregnant I had never had a headache like this.
My midwife said they were probably hormonal and suggested I try fish oil. (I also did not want to take tylenol).
I can't remember what one (product) I bought now- but it was in capsule form, just a high quality fish oil- high in omega 3.
I was really amazed how it helped! Usually it would get rid of the headache completely taking a capsule every 4-6 hours... but sometimes it didn't work as well as other times.
I take fish oil supplements now regularly (cod liver oil etc.) and I always keep them on hand and take an extra dose when I have a headache.
Ask your midwife or homeopath/nutritionist about it-
Hope this helps you!!
Good luck.
