Some Suggestions for Treating MS.
Dear Laurie,
First of all, MRI tests are often unreliable.
If a jet plane flies over the doctor's office
while you're having the test, it can affect the outcome. Take the same test the next day,
and the results can be completely different.
You apparently didn't consider yourself a sick
person till this doctor strong-armed you into
taking the MRI. You don't describe any symptoms that would point to MS. That tingle
in your finger almost 20 years ago, could have
been anything.
Now you've done some reading about MS, and
filled yourself up with negative thoughts
about how horrible MS is. You weren't sick
before the test, but now you consider yourself
seriously sick.
Negative thoughts, Laurie,
all by themselves, can directly cause all kinds of illnesses and degenerative conditions. Conversely, positive thoughts are
healing to body, mind, and soul.
The mainstream medical establishment in America is in the business of "Disease Mongering." They want you to feel ill,
so that they can sell you obscenely expensive
and toxic drugs; so that they can cut you,
radiate you, and chemo you. Why? Because
there's NO money to be made in preventing
disease, whereas there are zillions to be
made in "disease management."
So the first thing I suggest you do, is ignore
the results of that MRI -- and find yourself
a compassionate, caring doctor, who believes
in Natural Healing.
However, if you do develop some of the symptoms of MS, here are some other suggestions you might want to consider.
1) In his wonderful book, Healing With Whole
Foods, Paul Pitchford devotes several pages
to MS. He says that it's caused by candida
overgrowth. In one person, that candida may
cause MS or Parkinson's. In another person,
a very different illness.
So you want to do some internal cleanses to
kill off most of the candida: colon, liver,
kidney, and
parasite cleanses.
You also should begin taking a probiotic capsule with each meal, as well as a digestive
enzyme. These supplements will help your body to digest its food, once your intestinal tract is clean.
2) Pitchford says that MS sufferers should
avoid foods with gluten. They also usually
lack essential fatty acids -- especially
the omega-3 fatty acids -- that are missing
from virtually all processed foods.
Flaxseed oil and wheatgerm oil are good sources of fatty acids. Or you can buy organic golden flax seed, and grind your own,
like I do. Three (3) tablespoons a day of
golden flax seed that you grind yourself -
and eat immediately -- will do wonders for
your overall health. I mix it into juice.
3) Pitchford also suggests you eat lecithin
Granules. I completely agree. I've been eating
a spoonful of Solgar Lecithin granules every
day for 15 years. It's wonderful for your
nervous system, and helps your brain to function smoothly. You can buy Lecithin granules in any health food store.
Cabbage and cauliflower also contain lots of
lecithin. So do seaweeds and mung bean sprouts.
4) I would also recommend you begin eating a
spoonful of bee pollen every day, Laurie.
Go to my CZ website (I'll post the address
at the end of this message), and read the
articles about bee pollen and seaweed.
They are as close to perfect foods as you
can find.
5)
Andreas Moritz , who used to have the prize
forum here at CZ, recommends pau d'arco (also
known as lapacho) for MS and Parkinson's.
I eat a spoonful of pau d'arco every 5th
day as part of my prevention program. Let me
know if you want a good source for it. It's
not expensive.
6) My final suggestion for today, Laurie, is that you do some research on the healing powers
of Ozone. Our bodies are 75 percent water,
and oxygen accounts for 90 percent of the
weight of water. To maintain good health, or
to reverse ANY illness, you need to flood your
75 trillion cells with fresh oxygen.
There are lots of ways to do that. There are
products like OxyMune or Hydroxygen Plus, which will add much-needed oxygen to all your
cells. Ozone machines will generate fresh
ozone, as well as kill mold, bacteria, and
viruses, in your living space. Colosan is
a colon cleansing powder which delivers extra
oxygen to your intestinal tract.
You can also
do simple pranayama breathing exercises,
used in India for thousands of years, to
oxygenate your entire body. That's the way
I oxygenate my body, though I'm considering
an ozone machine to clean my hurricane-damaged
apt.
I hope some of these suggestions resonate with
you, Laurie. Do some research, and educate
yourself about real nutrition. Paul Pitchford's book will pay back its cost a
thousandfold over the course of your long life.
Stay positive and upbeat! I will keep you in
my prayers.
Blessings,
Owen
