MY NAME IS Laurie, I'M A 39 years old, DARK HAIRED, GREEN-EYED GIRL, a
mother and MS LIVES WITH US IN Charlotte NC. YEP, I TYPED THAT RIGHT.
You would never know I have MS, but, I started to see a new doctor at
signature health and had a full exam. He wanted to know my LIFE HEALTH
HISORY in detail...anyway he felt it was important to have a base
line/something to refer/compare to... so since I had a MRI 15yrs ago
he felt it was important for me to get another one since MRI’S have
improved, so how could I argue. I had the MRI Monday June 26th and it
says IT IS SO, I DO HAVE MS. So what do we do with this information?
I guess start TALKING, READING, RESEARCHING...so that is what I am
doing, and this is what I have found out thus far, MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS
IS IMPARTIAL & UNFORGIVING, IT'S AN UGLY/TERRIBLE DISEASE, IT'S KINDA
LIKE A ROLLER COASTER, BUT WITH NO WAY TO JUST GET OFF OR TO NEVER
RIDE AGAIN, IT IS NOT A FUN MYSTERY RIDE.

I look back to 1991,I guess when I was in my 20's I took life a little
less seriously, I guess I was taking life for granted...
This is what went down, in 1991 I went to the doctor because
I was feeling dizzy...the doctor told me I had vertigo...I had a
follow up visit, he ask how I was feeling..." I feel great, a little
tingling in my left hand finger tips, but no big deal it is probably
from biking or working out." The doctor looked at me with a look of
concern "WHAT ?" "I would like you to see a neurologist for a check
up/MRI" then, I looked at him not
with concern but as if he had 10 EYES.
Long story short the doctor said, "you MAY have MS..." So what do I do
with this information at 20 something? it sure wasn't TALKING,
READING, RESEARCHING...Well as we all get older and wiser, we take
life
a little more seriously, we are a lot more grateful and take life a
little less for granted, at least that is me.

I am reaching out to you all, asking you to share my story, to keep
me in your prayers and to share any stores you may have, maybe you
knows someone who has a special natural treatment or the special touch or advice.
At this time in my life this all feels a little overwhelming, their
are decisions I must make, Live my life as I been living... or do as
the person with MS does... AND WHAT IS THAT???

THX FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ THIS.

Always,

Laurie Presutti-Stevens
