The most important thing at this point is softening the mass. The
Oil Enema or a salt
water enema will be best for that. Administering as mentioned above, on knees with head to the floor, would be best. The salt
water enema may be very helpful in breaking down the mass without drawing water into the colon, while the
Oil Enema may be helpful in moving the mass out of the body. You can make a salt
water enema by adding 1 tbsp of
Sea Salt /uniodized salt to 2
quarts of water. Warm, not hot hot or cold water, is best. As your child retains the enema, you may want to do 'bicycles' with her while she lays on her back, like when she was a baby, to provide a bit of friction to help break up the mass. If she can't retain and bicycle at the same time, try the bicycles between enemas. Of course, if none of this helps, please don't hesitate having the manual disimpaction done. You may want to research the colonoscopy risks though, as this is quite invasive.
