I would be wary of the cortizone shots. I have not had any myself, but my father was given prednisone (a corticosteroid) for his asthma and was later told by his orthopedic surgeon that that was the reason for his hip replacement. Sherry Rogers talks about this in her book, "Detoxify or Die".
