Thanks for your response. We are the same for allowed veggies on MT diet. Our list of allowed veggies is fairly limited, sadly. I don't know how one would go about fermenting spinach........ha ha ha. But green beans and cauliflower???? Perhaps. Let me know how you make out with that.
How do you make kefir? And how much of it can you have each day? Like about a 1/4 of a cup or something? I live in a very rural part of upstate NY and am surronded by dairy farms. But some politcian ruled that it is illegal to sell raw milk in this state. Makes me angry. Farmers around me probably use that Bgh or whatever it is and only grass feed their herds in the summer. Out winters are nasty and the herds must be grain fed. I have asked a few farmers about securing raw milk and they are paranoid that the health dept. will find out and shut them down. Crazy.
Any suggestions on these topics would be appreciated.
