Re: Concerns about website "Whats Up...Earth"

I love the initial themes and ideas, but then I came to this page [link].
It says we will find better jobs, have more money, find a 'partner', abandonded the "new age" ideas, and then this scary one:"You have lost your desire to read books or gather any more new information", and that there is no right or wrong in the world, just accept it as "IS".

This sure sounds like "selling out" to the establishment! All the things that threaten established powers are to be discarded? hmmmm. And the New Age thorn is to be removed? And don't bother keeping up with the latest Conspiracy that needs to be outed? Who does that serve???????

Her idea is to ascend to a higher plane and forget the world of evil people and the devious powers in the White House, but that is jumping the gun. What - and leave the evil people to do as they wish? What about when they Nazi troops of America come to get you and put you in prisoon? Just rot there, content with your ascension?

We need to keep a foot in the base world or the evil people will use it for themselves.

Also, when she talks about the Symptoms of Ascension, it is a list of the symptoms of depression. I don't know what that means, other than a lot of depressed people might think they are now in heaven and that this is all good...
Certainly, if you are like me and find yourselves at odds with most of the social-political world, as well as having chronic pain and illness, this sounds really good. I would prefer to be moving to the higher plane rather than believe I am being poisened by the trappings of materialism. But that lets the people like dentists off the hook, so they can carry on destroying peoples mouths, and oilmen can continue getting wealthy off pollution.

I do love her idea about evolving to higher planes, and I believe I have made some motion in that direction. but to "jump off" the earth's surface like that is just not responsible to the physical earth that we must work to protect.
