well if its indian food then you probably mean curry, and yes curry has many wondreful digestion accelerating spices including ginger and tumeric and some curries contain....cayenne! there are literally hundreds of different curries and they all contain different spices, but all curry is great for digestion, and many of the spices used work very similarly to cayenne. you could do exactly what i described and just substitute curry for the cayenne and probably get similar results.
