Re: mucoid plaque is so gross!!!
bswatch,
though I agree with you to a point that there has been much exaggeration and quackery involved with mucoid plaque and other things in the health industry- I think there is a danger of adopting the other extreme and saying it totally doesnt exist as well.
We have to be objective but take a middle ground.- not swallowing everything you read, but also remaining objective to that there may be a grain of truth to it.
I have eliminated mucoid plaque from my lower intestines, but it was only about 1 1/2 foot long the two different times i passed it. it wasnt black and sausagy looking either- but fat and grey looking with overlapping edges. I didnt know what it was at first, and thought it could be a wierd giant parasite! I passed it in a grocery store bathroom toilet of all places!
At that time, i had become a Raw vegetarian and began eating all sorts of raw fruits and veggies- nothing cooked. THis was the first time I passed this mucoid plaque.
I feel the appearance depends on the type of matter that has been accumulated in the intestines. If you eat alot of starches and breads all your life like I did, maybe the mucoid plaque looks more like plaster and clay.
If a person eats alot of red meats and foods overly high in iron, perhaps their mucoid plaque is more rubbery and dark like in the photos. It is true that a human's ' intestines are incredibally long, so i wouldnt be surprised if someone passed tons of this stuff.
I dont know about 15 miles of it though!
I have noticed a big difference in my colon health from just passing what I passed. I had not been taking any P&B shakes either. The only reason I passed it was from my brand new eating habits change from switching over from Burger King, french fries, and starchy sugary processed foods to my new lifestyle of raw fruits and veggies and herbal teas.
Maybe I had buildup of flour and pastey carbs in my intestines--mixed with mucous that had to come out.
