PTree: Which Holistic Horizons answer

PTree and all,
What I am using is the Holistic Horizons Intestinal Bulking Agent III. It is referred to as a laxative. The ingredients are: Psyllium Seed Husk 74% by weight; Inulin (chicory root extract, Dandelion Root, Spirulina, Cloves, Calcium Pantothenate. It doesn't seem to be a laxative like you think of a laxative. There is NO CRAMPING or continuous runs. You just have a good BM several times a day. The bulking agent is supplimented with the Intestinal Cleansing Formula, 1000 mg. tablets. The ingredients of that are: Rosemary, chickweed, cloves, plantain, bayberry bark, irish moss and corn silk extract. Who would ever have thought that weeds could clean your bowels!

These formulas are by Robert Gray and are distributed by Halcyon Pacific Corp., Sacramento, CA.

I bought them online and also got Mr. Gray's book and a dry brush. He maintains that dry brushing ones skin is also effective to cleanse the lymph system and the bowels. I haven't used the brush yet, though. I highly recommend HH. I'll send the link in another post. It is a little pricey, but I can do without something else if I have to because this is so wonderful to get my bowels cleaned out. I'm also seeing a good chiropractor who is working with the area of my spine that controls the bowel function. I'm a determined pooper.
