I guess my humor's way too silly, huh?
I generally pray general prayers for blessing people, that they should have a closer walk with God and that He would fulfill all their desires according to His perfect will. Sometimes I might get a little specific here and there, like asking for a really good companion, but I don't know if I should ask that for you, should I? (I'm being coy again, just ignore me)
I believe when God doesn't answer our specific prayers, specially regarding relationships, it's always a good thing. He sees things in a much larger scope than we do, and sometimes what we think is good, well, He just knows better. I believe He always, always wants what's the very best for us, and the bad stuff is just the free will we have or the godless world we live in. I've never blamed Him for all the screwy things that have happened to me.
I don't know about god being man or woman and I frankly don't care either way. I would never call you dense on anything, just not your time yet perhaps to have experienced certain things. I believe truly that you are very special in God's purposes, and someday whenever, that will be revealed to you. Your desire for knowing what it is that makes any sense is just too strong to go unanswered.
By the way, I read your "fantasy" at 'that other forum' (ahem!),
and I thought it was the most romantic and beautiful thing. I'm sure lots of religious folks would croak, but let 'em. See, I think that's what God meant in the Songs of Solomon. That's why I just love God.
Yup, my friend, I can talk this way because I'm one happy camper, I'm at peace with my God and I think I'm finally beginning to 'get it'. That's why I'm rooting for YOU all the way!!!!!! Tweet
