There was 3 stories come to mind, one was a robber who after his group rob a family who was traveling. The group wanted to kill them to cover up the deed. One member of the robbers talked them out of it killing the family and let them go.

Another man tried to find God and the after-life for years even after he became famous and rich. He paid much money to find the truth. But all he knew was that he never found anything but the good life in his life.

The third was a Buddist for years, lived the life, had great power and had even entered into the 7th veil. He found wealth and wisdom but could never find the name
of God or the proof of him in the 5 senses.

What happened, well the first later paid for his crimes and while hanging on a cross again met the man who, as a little boy, he(the robber)had saved the lad and his family from death. The man was Jesus, the King of Jew and Gentile, and said the robber would be with him in heaven shortly.

The second was Harry Houdini, who was protected from the forces of evil and went on to live a Godly life as a great man.

The third finally gave up on his life and before he quit, he gave up all his wealth and power to just live a normal life. He lives in the woods near a great American city, happy with a new wife and child, enjoying what his God gives him. The name of his God is Jesus Christ.

So my friend who has a desire to find God, I wish you well because that desire comes from God in what ever path He leads you. God bless!
