Herbs vs. Psyllium and bentonite for colon cleansing

I’ve been conversing on the bowel cleaning forum and the majority of the people over there use the psyllium and Bentonite for colon cleansing. I’ve been using that and I’m not eliminating much at all so I’ve slowed it down. My question is the psyllium vs. herbs things. I hear that the herbs that Dr. Schulz and many of the others use, leads to dependence and that they dehydrate the colon after a few weeks of use. Some time ago I did a cleanse using some herbs and it seemed to get the bowels going a lot more than the psyllium, but I’m not sure of any longer term problem that I may have encountered. I hear some of you say that once you stop the herbs the movements stop. Shouldn’t it be just the opposite and you should be eliminating better after the cleanse.

I have very stubborn bowels – I go only a few times a week if that. I have low blood Sugar – extremely sensitive to simple carbs. I’ve been off them over a week and I think I should be doing better but the bowels need to be cleansed. I’m really confused and need your opinion. I’m also pretty sensitive overall and I’m worried about cramping and diarrhea being a problem with herbs. Would the #3 for children do the trick or would it not totally cleanse the bowels.

HELP!!!!!
