I've read where dry skin is often more the result of an *inside job*, that the body is drying out from lack of healthy oil in the diet...rubbing the skin with oils and skin brushing would certainly help, I think, but I would suggest also taking some form of healthy oils as well.

Someone else can better guide you than me, but I know from past experience that taking 1-2 Tbs. a day of fish oil or some oil like Udo's made major positive changes in my own dry skin. You might want to approach the problem both from the inside as well as the outside.

And, for what it's worth, someone told me a week ago that Epsom Salts baths can be extremely drying on the skin (I have no idea if this is right or wrong; I'm just passing it along).
