Re: Black feces

Thanks to everyone on this. My feces are no longer black. And I have a pretty good idea what caused it. I believe it was bleeding from taking too much ibuprofen. I have horrible periods and I have taken naproxen for a long time for it, but the last one I tried ibuprofen instead because the naproxen sometimes makes me queasy. As you have to take advil twice as often as the naproxen, I probably took more than my stomach could handle, and then I topped it off by eating a 1/4 pound of unshelled pumpkin seeds.

And don't bother lecturing me on the naproxen/advil thing. I have two choices only. Hysterectomy or living with two really bad days a month. I've chosen the latter, and if that means I take some pain killer two days a month, so be it. Living through those two days without analgesics would be impossible. Tweet
