This is all great to hear since I wasn't sure about my decision initially (and still had doubts before I started reading up in this forum). But the kids turned out to be smart, healthy, well behaved and good hearted - so everything else is just details. And when it comes to your kids, the decision to mutilate or not should be an easy one unless there's clear and overwhelming need for the former (complete with second opinion).
As for the Doctor, yes, I'm really greatful for her wisdom and empathy. I would no doubt have defaulted to the status quo without her wakeup call out of fear the kids would be stigmatized and put at sanitary risk without it. HA!
