No, but people are bashing the idea that some choose to keep to the tradition or for any other reason. What happened was Isreal broke the covenant when they denied Christ and crucified Him. The Gentiles to believed in Christ then became the chosen people and when Christianity arose as a result they took on the tradition and became the descendants of Abraham through the covenant. It wasn't necessity then but it was a personal choice. I don't care if you want your kids to keep their foreskin. Just don't bash parents to hold the tradition and choose not to. God himself said to circumcise their sons. He told them exactly how it was to be done and under what circumstances...i.e. on the eight day after their born...doctors are now figuring out why God would say the eighth day...that's because their vitamin K levels are at their highest and that helps with blood clotting and rapid healing. As an adult, vitamin K is low in the blood and therefore it takes longer to heal and is more painful as a result. Doctors today give babies a boost of it as soon as their born. Tweet
