Re: What is the Christian view on breatharianism?

Madame,
I think if you will read your post you will see that you answered most of your own questions quite correctly.Although I have never heard of the people of whom you speak. The bible and common sence will tell you that man cannot live very long without food and water.Has anyone proven to you or anyone else that they have gone years without food or water?
I am not sure that satan could cause that to happen. If it did (and I for one do not believe it)then it would be because GOD allowed it to happen for a reason to serve HIS purpose.Do you see any purpose for it?Nor do I.Satan can only do what GOD allows, and most of the time man does not understand.
The body should be a temple to GOD for the HOLY SPIRIT.We are to treat it as such.Surely you don't think denying the body food and water for years is a proper way to treat a temple.Fasting is shown all through the bible,as a means of cleaning the body.as a means of drawing closer to GOD,or for a special purpose.
Madame ,one can tell by your many informative posts that you are an intelligent lady,so please don't be fooled by this type of drivel.Dismiss it from your christen mind and think of GODLY things.
Sincerely I C L
