I never had a weight issue till I hit 45, then I gained 20 lbs. in 4 years. Kind of sneaked up on me. I decided to do something about it, but since I'm the impatient type, I plan to eat healthier and exercise more after I dump the weight. (no pun intended) I've always been able to eat anything and not gain, so I've never dieted before. I guess I needed the motivation of seeing the weight come off quickly to clean up my act (again,no pun intended). So, I'm on day 8 and have lost 16 lbs, feel great, and the "cleansing" is just a happy benefit for me. I'm impatient, but once I make up my mind to do something, I stick to it. (I've felt great, and have had few food cravings since day 4)
It just seemed like a safe way to lose weight quickly.
