Try not to panic. It seems that yes... this is possible however this is the first time (in years of living with rare and extremely mild outbreaks) anything like this has happened.

It is also terribly terribly dry (in terms of climate) where I am living and has been for several weeks. My skin is drier than it has been in a long time in spite of using numerous lotions and such. I am not sure what is causing the satellite bumps and they may be just some kind of allergic dermatitis or systemic reaction to having a virus at work.

I am not trying to deny anything. Sorry if my reaction contributed to more worry for you.

My point is that I don't think that this is a common development - first time in years of living with H that this has happened... hopefully the only and last time as well.

Remain optimistic and live responsibly.
