Re: coarse, dry hair

Hi all. I've tried many conditioners over the years. For the past year or so, I've been using Aussie products, work well for me, but I've recently been worried about using stuff with silicone in it, as I've heard it can damage your hair in the long term, and lead to breakage (I read this in a magazine, and also somewhere on the Ask Shelley forum). It's so hard to find out which products use this, as they can call it so many different things, which is why I thought I'd try the coconut oil. I'm quite impressed with it so far, this time next year I'll have GREAT hair! I've noticed its a bit curlier round the ends. I've also found that since increasing the amount of good fats in my diet, my hair has really improved in texture, length, and looks. Tweet
